Meet Our Founder - Danielle Begg

Body Mind Heart Training® Founder, MSc, BPsyc(Hons), E-RYT

Danielle Begg works with healthcare professionals and community leaders who want to bring calm, clarity, and care into their work. Using practical, science based mind body techniques, she helps them create spaces that support both the people they serve and themselves.

With an academic background in psychology and public policy, Danielle recognized a significant gap: although mind body practices are proven to improve mental and physical wellbeing, they are rarely integrated into healthcare or educational systems. Driven to change this, she developed programs that bridge the wisdom of the yoga world with evidence based science, making these tools accessible to those who need them most. Her approach combines research informed practices with real world application, offering healthcare workers and community leaders a trusted pathway to incorporate mind-body techniques into their work and communities. Danielle’s goal is to make this knowledge simple, approachable, and practical, empowering individuals to bring peace and understanding into both their personal and professional lives.

Danielle is the creator of the Body Mind Heart 200-Hour Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training, and she hosts Trauma Informed Yoga workshops and retreats worldwide. She teaches yoga programs in Sydney for people recovering from trauma and provides private consultation and mentoring for professionals seeking to deepen their practice and impact.

She is dedicated to helping others strengthen their capacity to support those around them while cultivating calm, focus, and resilience in their own lives.
